Alright here are 3 steps, super secret illuminati
steps to writing emails that get conversions. Follow
closely as I spill the mystery of the ancient Egyptians.
1. Write your email.
2. Delete most of what you wrote.
3. Push the send button.
Funny ? Not really ! People write too much garbage.
When it comes to getting conversions I am going to tell you that
most marketers are completely overthinking and over spilling too much
Here are a few guidelines to get you some better conversion rates.
1. Treat your promotion like a good movie preview. Show the
exciting parts. Dont re-write or try to highlight every last single
possible feature of the product or service. In other words
LESS IS MORE.
2. Stay away from program owners pre-written sales copy. Some
are very good but more are very bad and way way way to long. Get
original, change the headlines. For every email have 3 or 4 good subject
3. Get your hyper link in the view of the reader as soon as they open
the email. For the most part people are not going to read what you write.
We are visual human beings. Most people want to click something.
4. If you are using safelists, solo ads, or viral mailers stick to short
concise promotions of less than 500 characters.
People that are using these platforms are not reading your
emails and those that are need something that is going to trigger
them to click. Here is a free email formatting tool that you can
use to help you out if you need it. http://safelists.guru/emailformat/.
I just use word and set tabs because i like seeing it full screen and
i always send myself a test email to see how it
5. If you are mailing to your list keep the promotional materials to no
more than 5 brief paragraphs, preferably 3. You will see in my emails
always some kind of PS, post script. This is my email series and my
advertising space so why not take advantage to promote something
of value or a free giveaway. With the number of emails and promoting I do
I get a ton of attraction to those short ads.
No More Excuses
Way more than your typical how to E-book
