Are You Really Looking For List
Yes, List Building: how many times haven’t you heard about it? I’m sure you’ve read about it, you’ve downloaded ebooks on it and have even watched YouTube videos about it. This is one thing that all the big gurus unanimously agree on: that, “The Money is in the list.”
The big gurus and other internet marketers usually brag about the size of their lists, and that is for good reason. The truth of the matter is that when you have a good list which you’ve managed well, basically you have your own ATM online. You can sell to your subscribers over and over again. It is for this reason that all top internet marketers do constantly sing the praises of List Building.
But since List Building is regarded
as such a critical step in online marketing success, what is the mystery behind it?
There is no mystery to it practically. The only problem is the How?
Everybody tells you to build your list and that the money is in the List but they never tell you how to do it successfully and with ease. So now, “How do You build Your list?” That is what this Short Article is all about! But obviously, we cannot say much in a short article like this one. Therefore, expect more in subsequent articles.So keep your eyes on the ball as we progress. We’ll cut it into small pieces to make it digestible to you.
To begin with I am making some very basic assumptions: that you already know what a Squeeze Page or an Opt-In Form and who Prospects are.
The process is simple: you expose your squeeze page to the internet world through various forms of ads. Why do you do that? You want people to join your list. But will they? No. Why not? Because in the internet world scams abound and people are cautious about releasing their particulars carelessly. So, what do you do? Motivate them. How do you do that? You need a Lead Magnet. What is a Lead Magnet? Glad you've asked. A simple Google Search gives the definition as, "A lead magnet is an incentive that marketers offer to potential buyers in exchange for their email address, or other contact information."
In simple terms, therefore, give them a powerful reason why they should give you their names and email addresses and hence join your list.
That is not all. Savvy marketers Bribe them! Bribe? Yes, bribe them. We’ve all been bribed before, and that includes you and I! Simple, entice them by telling them, “You just give me your email address and I deliver something to you.” The key is to make that something irresistible to the person. Something they find difficult to let it go and quickly they are on your list. That something could be what they desperately need like the one which

· provides an inspiration or
